Worlds Apart like my other projects just hit me like a lightning bolt to brain. What are the universal elements that tie humanity together? Who are we really under the noise? Where are we going as a species? Why does there seem to be a split in consciousness happening within people everywhere? We are experiencing unprecedented times and I fear without a sense of connection to each other grounded in the soul we will continue to be torn down by one another and divided by those stories  being highlighted and sensationalized in the media.

We may be worlds apart in location, experience, beliefs, values or goals but the things that tie us together are what I really wanted to explore in the aesthetics and messaging of this series. For the style I wanted to draw on this primordial vibe of destructive creation, a focus on the fluidity of life's natural forces, boldness and contrast against the black to symbolize the collective darkness we are walking through together. But within that is the cultivation of things like compassion, resilience, overcoming suffering and strength, which also connect us. I truly hope you enjoy this series, it came from the soul. Which to me, is who we actually are, underneath all the noise.
